Marie-Therese

I LOVE flying. I just hate the TSA. I get extremely happy when I get to the airport because it always means good things are coming. :)

I usually fly out of Atlanta, which I think is the greatest airport in the world. It's so massive but it runs like a well-oiled machine.

Now I am thinking about the airport and getting all happy.

I actually didn't have any trouble with TSA last time I flew. Which was the first time I've flown since their inception that I can actually say that...unlike my friend from Pakistan. She's never had any additional screening, or found notes in her checked bags describing that she's been randomly searched for national security reasons.

MT, I really do bet you find airports happier than me. :P I only get to use them for conferences.

wear flip flops, no belts and no jewelry..and wear a hat with not scruntchie thingies ...and you will pretty much pass through TSA unscathed.

Thanks everyone. I am like this with every trip, flying or not. It's just the unknown that gets me anxious. The what ifs, ya know? Blech.

MissScripture

I know a gal who works/worked for the TSA. She gave a pat down to the State Treasurer, because he wouldn't take off his sweatshirt. :hehe:
I don't mind flying out of here. It's laid back because there is only one or two flights there at a time, so security isn't packed and uncomfortable, and the TSA agents aren't cranky. I am not looking forward to flying while pregnant, in Sept.

I also hate to fly, for a number of reasons. I have to be going someplace I really want to go to, and can only get to on a plane.
