Did she have any say in it?

She submitted 3 name choices.
Most likely it will be one of those three, but there is the slim possibility that Mother will pick a different one.

I have to wait until my mom calls me this evening to find out! They were told to call between like 6 and 8 pm. to find out, or something like that. Idk, I just know they had a set block of time they needed to call in. I'm on pins and needles!

I can't wait to find out. I have not heard anything about the DSMMEs though, wonder when their Novitiate entrance ceremony is..

No idea, but I probably should. I think my sister told me. Last year when she entered in Nashville, another gal from the diocese entered in Ann Arbor. The diocesan newspaper did an article on them, and they got each other's phone numbers. (Also, strangely, the assistant Pastor who had been at my family's parish was moved to this other gal's church as Pastor. :hehe2: ) But they exchanged addresses and she wrote to her once this past year (they agreed not to use "friend letters" to write to each other, since they could only write 2. At least in Nashville), but my sister got special permission to write to her once.

Sr. Anne Therese

AAAAHHHHH! It's so weird! But cool! :dance2: :dance3: :woot: :w00t:
I guess my parents sent her a bunch of gerbera daisys, and a bouquet with roses to another Sister our family has gotten close to (but I don't know her name! My parents won't tell me because her parents haven't found out yet) and a ton of peruvian lilies for the rest of the postulants.

We're not 100% sure. The last time she told my parents her name choices she included Therese, but not Anne Therese, so we don't know if she added that before turning in her names, or if that was added for her. But the Therese part does not surprise me in the least, as that was her confirmation name. Hopefully she'll tell us more about it in her next letter. I'm not actually sure when she gets to write again, though.
