I think you guys are talking about the re-release of The Life of Brian-the boy born next door to Jesus. It is really funny, and has some great parts of fun about the romans. It is just fun, like the Holy Grail.

Yes, it is the Life of Brian they are planning to re release.
Did you read the article?
It's interesting to see their reasons why they are planning to release it again now. The article states that the Life of Brian was described as blasphemous when it was first released though it doesn't say by whom so I don't know if it was the Catholic church.

I did not read the article, but I have seen the movie, and I think it is just fun. There is some nudity, but, we, it is still funny. Always look on the bright side of life!

I had reservations about seeing the Life of Brian until I walked into the Pre-Theo lounge at a local seminary and they were watching it and laughing their buts off. Since then I've been dying to see it!

I love Monty Python! one of my friends made me watch it for a written comp project we were doing and well now i can't stop laughing everytime i think of that movie. The other night when i was watching monty python and the holy grail i got a phone call and it was long distance and my friend asked me what i was watching because it sounded really funny and he was dying laughing listening to it as we were talking because it made no sense.

Brother Adam

The nudity is done in very poor taste, and is by social definition flat out pornography. I'm sorry but I see their rendition of "angels" as nude lapdancers sick and wrong. I just cannot see our Dear Lord and Savior "laughing his but off" at this movie. :(

I have seen part of Brian but I didn't get to the parts with any nudity so I am unsure of that, but Monty Python is comedy and isn't meant to undermind faith, like Da Vinci Code is.

I saw the holy grail, but didn't think it was very funny... the ending was pretty funny b/c it is so irrelivent though :) I didn't like how they portrayed God. I know it was just for fun but....

Everyone is making a too big deal about this. People act like this movie is like the greatest thing to happen to mankind and such and every other person is bashing it automatically calling it "Christian propaganda". Hey love it or hate it, whether your trying to challenge it or not, remember this before you go too childish: it's just a movie.
