dells_of_bittersweet
So if you are on YouTube, and you come across a video that you think is violating someone's copyrights (e.g., a video of a live performance not uploaded by the perfomer, or a video where someone appears to have uploaded an MP3 and put words to it), is it wrong to watch it? Wrong to forward it to others?
CatherineM
If you know that something is pirated, you should stay away from it. If you don't know, but just suspect it might be, that's like buying something at a pawn shop. You know there is a possibility that it might be stolen, but you can't know for sure. I would be comfortable watching the video, but I probably wouldn't forward it on. It's important to look at the situation with your eyes open.
