Actually - and I think not even the Mods know this - there is a secret Not-Catholic-Enough Firing Squad on Phatmass. They send coded messages to each other, through status updates, about who they're going to execute next for offenses against Catholic theology.

Was I not supposed to say anything about that?

I do!

Bigotry is being called a hater because you disagree with the choices a person makes. Bigotry is calling me a hatemonger because I reject a sinful, harmful, and sterile lifestyle devoid of the possibility of bringing forth life. Bigotry is demanding that I not just tolerate sexual deviancies, but embrace them as normal and tout them to my children as such.

ppfft! I bite my thumb at thee, ye haters of me

i liked what said about knowing what real bigotry is. prejudice doesn't
get anyone anywhere and we all have to fight it and love others with
God's love. that isn't always easy to do.

I thought this part was pretty amesome:

there is no such thing as a "Gay Lifestyle." it's people doing what they were created to do.
what gays feel isn't bigotry. it's the cruelty in the rulings of the hierarchy about us. is is
really fair and just to ask gays to live a celibate life? everyone has a right to love and
just because we are gay should we be denied that right? No!

Being a lesbian is not a sin. Being bisexual isn't even a sin. Wanting to have sex with women is just like wanting to have sex with men when you're not married ... just because you have a desire for it doesn't mean that it's correct or what you should do. And just because we desire certain things doesn't mean we're all hellbound.

Sometimes I want to kick people in the face. And I find being chaste, as an unmarried woman, extremely irritating. But I don't, and I am.

Having sex and getting married don't define love. That's not what love is about. You don't need either to be happy.

With all due respect, I can't seem to see how living the lifestyle is what we are "created to do" I say that because the Lord created man and woman in order that they might procreate and that life might come forth from their union.... I guess I am not fully understanding what you mean by the bolded part.

I read this article a few days ago and thought it was excellent. I wish this sort of article could reach some bigger headlines.
