catholicinsd
It's it true that our Lutheran brothers and sisters use grape kool-aid for the Bood of Christ for their services?
Luigi
There are different flavors of Lutherans. The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod uses wine. However, it might be possible that they use grape Kool-Aid for children's services or something. I don't know what the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America or any of the other synods do. homeschoolmom
I grew up Methodist and we used Welch's grape juice. I've heard of a few Lutheran churches who use both wine and grape juice. They use those little shot glasses. Purple is grape juice, white is wine... or something. I dunno. ETA: *never* heard any chuch using Koolaid. Anastasia13
I spent years as a Lutheran (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America), and we had wine. We had a dish with little tiny cups of red wine. In the middle section of the dish were little cups of grade juice for in someone was an alcoholic or something in the past or for some reason wanted to avoid wine. I don't think it was kool-aid, but then I always went for the wine. I have not been to a Lutheran service in a few years.
