So I'm going to be in Houston for a couple weeks come Sunday. Are there any Houston phatmassers? Does anyone have any suggestions for things to see or do? Any good places to eat?

I live in Houston, actually.

My and my roommate bros have a spare bedroom you're welcome to and we can give you a ride from the airport. So no need to book a hotel or call a cab. You can also have at our fridge so there's really no need to take any money with you. Just wait for us at the airport. We'll come and pick you up.

I thought I asked you to run things by me before you invited people over. I had a soirée planned...we'll talk about this later.

That's a shame. The last one was so fun. I really enjoyed the part where you got pissing drunk and openly flirted with Mr. Fincannon while explaining to him, loud enough for the room to hear, mind you, that it wouldn't really be an affair since there's been no love in the marriage ever since the miscarriage.

I'm not a Houston Phatmasser ... but I've been there on travel many times. Pappasito's Cantina is wonderful. Love the Mexican food from there. I don't like their bbq place. But I loved the Cantina.

I lived there for 4 years. My grandparents have lived there for 18 years.

Galveston is pretty close - maybe a 30 min to an hour drive depending on where you are. Lots of stuff there.

Astros games are fun and cheap. The stadium is pretty cool.

I would recommend the original ninfas on navigation street. Great margaritas there too. Top 5 Mexican places in Houston. Pappasitos is pretty good, but It's a chain. Still I would recommend it. There are all kinds of cool local places down Richmond st or westheimer. My law firm would go to a bar called little woodrows pretty often - kinda a cowboy bar.

Some meusems are cool too. Houston has some big parks too.
