rhetoricfemme
Please pray for my sister, Tina. I wrote a while back about how torn apart her marriage is, but that she keeps trying to fix it. Anyways, what I'm asking for now is prayers for her to continue looking for God. I know she is searching for Him, and I just hope that she doesn't give up. Please pray for her to recognize all that He does for her, and all that He has blessed her with. Please also pray that I would be able to make the five hour trip to go see her soon. Since I'm asking prayers for one sister, I think I'm going to ask a few for my other three sisters, if you wouldn't mind reading them. For Lynnie: she is mentally and physically disabled, and relies completely on our mother. Please pray that her seizures would stop, and that she would be blessed with happiness, good health, and the comfort of knowing she has us and God. For Brandi: she has debilitating headaches and emotional issues, but went off her medications over a year ago when she and her husband began trying to conceive. Little Thomas is nearly half a year old now, and Brandi is still off those meds, and as far as I know, dealing with everything wonderfully. It's as though Thomas is her cure. Please pray that she would continue to thrive and to see all the blessings God had provided her with. For Kim: she works herself to the bone for her family, and sacrifices so so much. This past year her oldest son, who is 21, started a relationship with his father. My nephew gives people the benefit of the doubt, and it's usually to his detriment, and we're just afraid that he's putting too much stock into his father (who swears he has changed). We're not even willing to give this man a chance, considering the end of his and my sister's relationship involved him being arrested for holding a gun to his then-two-year-old-son's head. Kim has warned and begged her son to stay away from his dad, and it worked for 20 years. Please pray for her peace of mind, for her and my nephew's safety, and that no one ends up physically or emotionally hurt over this. Please help for Kim to find strength with God, and not to forget that He's already brought her this far. For our mother: She's a widower taking care of everyone other than herself. She is damaged and bitter about many things in life, but she is always so loving and caring and selfless toward her family. Please pray for her health, for her monetary situation (it's not bad, but generally delicate), and for her to find the capacity to think positive in life--to hand all that baggage over to God and to just love herself. Thanks, everyone.
