[/quote] no, it doesn't. many saints have a childlike personality, but at the same time were very 'mature' in their faith and prayer life and shared that with the world. (i'm not saying you don't have those things...fyi.) but i, personally, never see you pretty much posting on anything else but the lame board. if you have thoughts other than blowing off steam and being silly, share those thoughts. i think that is perhaps why some here think you are younger than you are, because you post a lot of silly things (which aren't bad) almost to the exclusivity of anything serious. A "childlike personality", as you put it, does not make you immature, nor did I ever say that you were actually immature, I said that you [i]acted[/i] immature, and thus people perceive you to be younger than you are. Most of us PM Pham act like children some of the time -- it's what makes us so much fun, but neither that does mean that we portray ourselves below our actual age level. Constructive criticism (which you asked for) is not intended to insult, but rather to help and encourage growth. God wants us to be children, yes, but he also wants us to grow in virtue and perfection. In every relationship, for it to be healthy, there must be both give and take. You seem to be "getting" a lot out of PM. Ask yourself, "How is God asking me to change the world?", "which of my gifts would be beneficial to give back to my PM Pham?", "where can I make it less about me, and more about the other person?". You want people to respect you for your age. I am barely older than you, and I'm attempting to help you with what I know -- as someone who is often perceived to be younger than 18. I know how to be a goof, I know how to act childlike and "immature", but I also know that God is calling me to use my wisdom to help those around me to grow in holiness -- just as they help me to grow in my relationship with Christ. Lil Monster, I really think you need to take a look inside of yourself and try to figure out what you earnestly desire from life, from PM. Seek God's will, try and figure out His desire for you.
