Congratulations sir!

My Dad's an immigration lawyer, I may be able to provide some assistance in that department.... but probably not much.

I'll try to keep the forum up to date when we're working on the process. Tentatively at this point, it looks like we'll get married over there when I graduate, then I'll bring her here for a couple years while I get a bit of experience in my field, then I'm going to get her back home as soon as I'm able to get a job there. So yeah, immigration will be a pain in the neck throughout, but I'm confident.

:hehe: Katy has been told a couple times that she looks a bit like Kate Middleton. I disagree, to be honest with you. I just don't see it.

Minor change of plans: instead of bringing her here for a year or so, I will be getting a k-1 (fiancé/e) visa and going to the US for the wedding, then staying there and getting a green card. Oddly enough it is much easier for me to do that than for her to come here. We have no equivalent process.
It will be somewhat harder for me to get a job, but hopefully not too bad. I will have a bachelor of commerce at that point in finance or possibly accounting, so I'm sure I'll find work somewhere nearby. We're considering Indianapolis and St. Louis as two of the best options to consider.
I am most excited that we will be having a T.L.M. nuptial Mass. That will be a lot of fun.
