My mom so far isn't able to find a lawyer so that she can divorce my abusive dad. She is a lawyer herself and knows too many who would be impartial. She had a lawyer for months, but she told my mom over two weeks ago that she was going to take a position as a professor of law. Mom doesn't know who to go to.

She also needs help finding a place for her, my brother, and I to stay because dad wants the house. My parents and brother still live in the house but I don't. I don't want to live in that house with dad, so I've been living with my grandparents. I really want this divorce and to live with my mom and brother. I want a home again.
