For Two Parishioners Whose Mothers Are Quickly Passing

Two of my parishioners who are deeply committed to my Tuesday Evening Bible Study are both losing their mothers to cancer and old age. It's not looking like either one will live through the week. Losing a parent is always, always difficult. Please pray that these wonderful and faithful women enjoy a peaceful passing into Our Lord's arms and pray for the consolation of their children, family, and parish family that they leave behind.

Please also pray for me, that I may be there for them and know how to help comfort them. I've never been good at this sort of spiritual work of mercy.
