I hear that you can use V8 instead of tomato juice in a Bloody Mary to make a Bloody Eighth.

Highball glass

Commonly used ingredients

1–1½ oz. Vodka
2 Dashes hot sauce
4 Dashes Worcestershire sauce
Celery salt
Freshly ground pepper
Lime wedge
1 Crisp celery stalk

Preparation
Rim glass first with Lime wedge and then with celery salt.

V8 is great for making gazpacho. Mmmmm. (recipe)

It's also fun to drink it warm out of a glass and pretend you are a vampire/werewolf consuming blood or hearts-in-a-blender....but then, that's perhaps as creepy as the cannibalism.

(Personally, I prefer my V8 over ice cubes.)

Tomatoes should be eaten (preferably with bacon), not drunk.

Interesting though this sounds, it would be a sure way for me to top myself - I have a major celery allergy!

I love chilled tomato juice and chilled V8. I don't like Bloody Marys though - I wonder why that is? I like vodka in screwdrivers but not Bloody Marys
