I vote no. The reason being one cannot be called a Traditional American if they oppose the 19th Ammendment. If they oppose the 19th Ammendment they are irregular Americans. Insofar as they are irregular Americans, they cannot be considered Traditional.

Once they regularize though and come back in line with the Constitution, then we can call them Traditional again, but not before.

I wonder.....

does jaime (the artist formerly known as hot stuff) agree with this logic? Inquiring minds want to know....

The United States Constitution left it to the States to decide who could vote (that is when States still granted power to the Federal government). States can still determine how, ie. you must register, etc.

The US Constitution never gave guidelines to prevent women from voting or to what age a voter should be or race, etc.

The 19th Amendment was to clarify and ensure that women could not be prevented to vote as the law of the land. The 15th Amendment, clarified that race, color or previous status as a slave could not be used as a qualification not to be allowed to vote. Of course, the Democrats of the time found ways around that for almost a century.

The United States Constitution limits what the Federal government can do, not what we the citizens can do. At least it used to.
