LaPetiteSoeur
nope. I'm trying to find the order myself--it's been so long since I looked them up! I know they have a motherhouse in France, though.

das8949
another possibility would be Mother Kevin's Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa.
AnneLine
LPS - this is a tough one! I'm wondering if it could be the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary (who were founded as sort of an active branch of the Cistercians, but had hospitals--they wore white with black scapulars and veils....) or perhaps the Daughters of Charity - I know they did nursing among the poor and had foundling homes from the very beginning.... and at least later they wore white in hospitals, but blue and white cornettes everywhere else.... Help! take us out of our misery! (But thanks for the great challenge!) Edited November 21, 2011 by AnneLine
OnlySunshine
I give up. I'm stumped!
das8949
My final guesses are Daughters of the Heart of Mary; an older order from which RSM developed; some branch of Sisters of St. Joseph Now I am giving up - I have obsessed way too much on this one. LaPetiteSoeur
i think I'm just going to give up, too; I had posted the original order SO LONG ago, and now I can't find it. Sigh. Someone else can start another order...now I have to remember to SAVE every one I post!
