This whole pro-American Holocaust march has really hit me hard today. I've just been crying on and off all day. I look at my babies and I tell them how lucky they are. Usually you hear parents say that they are lucky to have such beautiful children. I tell my children they are lucky to have me as a mommy because they got to be born.

Sadly, my dad's second wife (yep, my mom's still alive and kicking) who is "Catholic" and her "Catholic" daughter were proud marchers in DC. <sigh> ...

i had a friend who was there as a protester to the protesters (make sense?) and he said that there were a ton of people there and there was so much hate being thrown around.....he also said that it was good for them to be there although he did not expand on that

I was reading this in the Chicago Tribune this morning on the train. Sad.

"Williams, now 52, had an abortion when she was 28. She said it was the right decision for her at the time, and she supports the right of other women to make the same decision."

"'Unwanted children breed criminals and other problems in our society', Williams said".


Earlier in the article she was identified as being from Wilmette, which for those of you who are unfamilair with the Chicago area is one of the wealthy north shore suburbs.
