Krush2k2
I went to Catholic school in 7th grade and I didnt reallie like wearing uniforms. I would always get into trouble for having my shirt untucked-those hall monitors were strict! I went to St.Bernards in Dallas
voiciblanche
I have to wear uniforms, and I don't like them. I think a dress code would be sufficient, but whatver, you know...
GodsThespianChic
I CAN'T STAND UNIFORMS!!! Anyways, now that I have that out...I really don't like them, because I hate everyone being the same. We have a dress code, so we have to have shorts or skirts at mid thigh or lower, no mid-riff, shirt sleeves have to be like at least 2 or 3 fingers across...stuff like that. So yeah...I think that's good enough.
Janana8706
I think they are a good idea. My school has them, they are pretty leaniant, but they are still there.
immaculata
Our school has a dress code right now, but we're moving into actual uniforms next year. Honestly, I'm relieved. The "dress code" gets stretched and changed WAAAYYY too much. It's supposed to be navy/khaki pants and blue/white button-down shirts. You wouldn't believe how many variations of blue there are! Plus, there are SO many girls wearing a size 2 who should be wearing a size 9. Next year the uniforms will be hideous, but at least we'll actually look.. well.. UNIFORM! http://www.pnduniforms.com I don't really have a problem with wearing a uniform- I've gone to Catholic school my whole life so I've put up with twelve years of jumpers and plaid. It makes me feel like I'm at school, and my focus is on learning rather than what I'm wearing.
liveoutloud
I LOOOOOOOOOOVE my uniform. I totally roll out of bed... snatch my skirt of the rack, and a fresh white collared shirt (that's our uniform--- grey standard pleated skirt and white polo shirt) put some shoes on and I'm out of the door. Not only does it save about 20 minutes every morning, but it puts everyone on an equal footing at school. It's an all girls school anyways, so we don't care about daily make-up, and we usually air-dry our hair... so uniforms make it all the better..... although it is notorious of Sion girls (that's my school) to wear pjs under the skirt when it gets cold.. or sweatshirts!!!! RachelB87
I went to a school that required uniforms, it's nice to wake up at 6:00am and already know what you're wearing, etc. Even nicer at an all-girls school because then you don't have to worry about hair or make up either! Homestarlover85
i never really cared...it just was easier in the morning... but rolling out of bed grabing what ever is grand
traichuoi
i think it's so cool to see kids in Catholic Schools' uniforms... i can't wait to have kids so they can wear uniforms...represent!
RoseRed
I think that uniforms are great, but lots of girls in my school take it toooo far, to the point where the skirts are sooo short, you can't even look up when you go up the stairs. I just fee bad for these girls, I don't see any purpose in shortening your skirts...maybe skirts with kneehighs should be outlawed....
Crusader_4
Uniforms....i am in favour but i think a strict dress code is better we have one but is practically a unifromt. I.e. dress shirt and pants and shoes and a sports jacket. It makes u neat and u never worry about what to wear in the morning as well it enforces modesty. Also when i go out now i tend to dress well just from it being ingraved in me and it gives a professional touch which should be asked of a school. crusader1234
will i cant believ you said that... dress codes like ours are the worst. its like restricted individuality. id rather have a uniform. that way you can just put it on and not think about it. at our school we have to think AND be within the rules. it smells of elderberries. ~*AnCoRa33*~
I go to a Catholic (Regnum Christi) co-ed school and I love my uniforms!! It keeps one modest (they are REALLY strict) and you don't have to worry about what you're gonna wear. We had a free dress day at school and all of us girls were stressing out over what to wear!! Uniforms also keep your standerds high!! You know that when people think of you, you're in a MODEST uniform, therefore I would want to let them think of me like that. Then when I go out after school, people watch me b/c I'm in a uniform and I have to model and be the example... staying right... I LIKE MY UNIFORM ALOT!!!!!!!!!
