[/quote] No idea! The website didn't say, it's just a general site of nun pictures. I'm guessing Marian of some kind. She does just look so happy doesn't she! It looks like it's snowing or maybe just raining but there's this wonderful sense of rejoicing in God's creation.

AnneLine
[size=5][sub]I agree -- that is a very unusual headress! wonder if that couldn't have been 'baseball cap day' or something...[/sub] [sub]On second viewing... two of them have a green 'crown' - maybe it is something formal worn in Church, or in Poland or something?[/sub] [sub]or maybe an earlier version of modified headgear (check out the pictures of their foundress)....[/sub][/size] [sub][size=5]All the other pictures on that website look like this... I've seen pictures before of sisters with flower crowns on their solemn profession day. I'd guess the unusual habit is an old one that has since been modified. It looks very unwieldy so perhaps it was modified to be more wearable.

Yes, the Sisters of the Most holy Soul of Christ do have an unusual headress.

EmilyAnn
I love that picture of Sr Elizabeth, she looks so beautiful and happy. One day it'll be my solemn profession and I'll be behind that very same grille.
