Please pray for my best friend Lauren. Last year, she was finally emancipated from her family because her father abused her. Since then, she's been living with her friend and her mom (now legal guardian), and her boyfriend's family, who claim to be very religious. His mother has told her that she is like their daughter, she's called her "mom", and she finally found a place where she felt loved, although they often neglected her too. This morning, she received a lengthy email from her boyfriend's mom, practically disowning her, telling her she wasn't a good person, and that she has poorly effected her biological children. Lauren and I spent all of third period in the bathroom. She was bawling her eyes out, punching the wall, etc. I have never seen her so hurt. I was completely shocked because from what I've seen, this woman has sung nothing but Lauren's praises. And, Lauren is an amazing person. She ended up going to her guardian's house, my friend Alyssa received permission to drive her. When she left, she was not in good shape. Please please pray for her. She feels like she's a horrible person, and that all she does is mess up, and that nobody loves her. She feels alienated. Please pray for her. It means a lot.
