Luigi
Tonight, I saw the singularly most impressive display of lightning bugs I have ever seen in my lifetime. They made twinkling Christmas light displays look lame! But it reminds me that catching lightning bugs is another favorite summer activity. Vincent Vega
A river on which you canoe?
Canoeing? Sounds like work. You get on an innertube and float down it. It's about six miles long and takes about 2.5 or 3 hours to float down. Possibly the most relaxing thing in the world. Luigi
SWIMMING
More details required - hopefully, more interesting details. For instance, swimming in a cold spring, swimming with dolphins, swimming in Lake Ponchartrain. But preferably NOT swimming in an over-chlorinated, life-guarded-beyond-any-possibility-of-real-fun, too-many-people-in-too-little-space, lame-music-blaring-over-a-cheap-loudspeaker-system, warm-as-bathwater, seasonal-pass, civic pool. Unless that really is what you like about summer.

HopefulBride
canoeing, siestas, beer drinking
Definitely siestas and beer drinking
ROADTRIPS. Especially to the beach, or out of state. My favorite states to travel to in the summer are colorado, new mexico, arizona, and california. Mostly the west coast. Absolutely beautiful =)
Looking forward to some Road trips (though I must admit the super long ones that involve teenagers and tweens are a bit trying)

FutureSister2009
It may be lame but I do love swimming and going to the beach. I just love hanging out. If I could, I'd go out to Rita's every night.
