Paladin D
Of course private revelation happens to this day, but I notice how some non-Catholics treat certain people as "Prophets", in a way as if they're in some office or vocation. In this specific form, do prophets exist?
Thy Geekdom Come
Public Revelation is closed and Private Revelation does not have to be believed and should be discerned carefully if you might believe it. I know that the Mormons have a prophet, though we don't even accept their baptism (it's in a trinity of gods, not of One God).
God Conquers
In terms of an "office" no. As people who have been given a private revelation from God which leads them to preach it openly within the framework of publicly revealed truths, yes.
