Problems With My Dad

I have been having issues with my dad lately that make it difficult to have any respect for him at all. I know it may seem like small things at first, but he has been extremely rude and disrespectful to my mom and I and then acts as though we are in the wrong. I don't understand why he is being like this. Today, I tried to confront him about the coffee pot which my mom bought for us both to use. He uses it in the early morning and NEVER cleans it out. I don't like having to clean it out before I use it, so I haven't used it in several weeks except once or twice. He just told me, "I don't want to talk about it and I don't like your attitude" and then walked off. I admit that I was a little jerky when I said it but this has been going on ever since we got the thing about 6 months ago. It's not only that, though. He doesn't clean up after himself in the bathroom and then gets upset when my mom confronts him about it. He's been completely stubborn. I really wish he'd change his attitude. This weekend at the water park, he barely talked to me and he was being impatient. Perhaps it's the argument my mom and I had a week or so ago about me moving out? I am not sure if that really the cause because it seems like it has been going on longer. I just really cannot relate to him anymore and I feel like I can't trust him because he lies all the time, especially if he thinks he's going to get in trouble by my mom. I wish he'd stop being so disrespectful.

I'm also praying that I can have more patience to deal with him. I've been on a short fuse the last few weeks because of tension of job searching and I'm not equipped to deal with him the right way. I'm praying for the strength to find respect even when it is lacking. :amen:
