MithLuin
'Wicca' is not the name of a god or goddess; it is the name of the religion, or the practitioners. It's only been around since the 1920's, so understandable that it's not entirely clear what these people believe. Many of them are simply anti-Christian, or are attempting to revive an earlier paganism. But regardless, the Horned God and the goddess Diana that Wiccan writers discuss is not to be confused with the Prime Mover (ie, God the Creator). So...yeah. From a Christian worldview, that leaves demons. Not exactly pleasant to contemplate.....

cmotherofpirl
There are indeed many similarities... Wicca is a daughter of Satanism.
No not really. Wiccans can be as diverse as christians and originated in the 1920's although claim further ancestry. Some worship goddesses or the universe, but most wiccans do not worship satan since he is considered a contruct of christianity. Many don't believe in an afterlife, preferring to make the best of this world. Many believe that magic is simply a part of nature we simply don't yet understand, and that karma exists, so first do no harm. Their festivals are derived from the ancient celtic feasts.
