CatherineM
I like baileys, white russians and grasshoppers. I suppose that dates me. Pina coladas are good, but I only like having those on the beach. I used to go to this place in college that made frozen cuba libres. Basically a frozen rum and coke that came out of a machine like an icy. CatherineM
In college our favorite happy hour insanity was called a pickle-eyed cowboy (our college mascot). It was basically every white liquor thrown into a blender with a half gallon of ice cream. We couldn't walk after a carafe of that stuff.
Maximilianus
Any type of Don Q rum mixed with ginger ale. If the establishment you are in doesn't stock Don Q, leave.
TeresaBenedicta
I ended up having some sort of sour bourbon cocktail that I think was peculiar to that particular bar. And then a lemon drop thereafter because the first was so sour! OH! THIS BAR WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!! It's called McMenamin's and they've got a chain in the Pacific NW. Each place is super unique. We went to the Kennedy School where they literally renovated an old school into this... amesome place. It's a hotel upstairs. And then there's like, four or five differently themed bars (we went into the Honors Lounge b/c they played classical music in there). Everything is decorated to theme. There was the Detention Bar that featured various beers and wines and cigars. The boiler room. In the "gym" there was a live band and dancing... And then there was a theatre bar as well, with $3 movies. It rocked!!! So much fun!!!
