It isn't all that hard, really. There's only a handful of things you need in order to be an effective and successful Catholic apologist.

Faithfulness to the Magisterium.
Love of Scripture
Passion for the truth.
Facial hair.
Actually, all you need is the facial hair.

There needs to be some women apologists. That or it's time to do some funky work with the eye liner...

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam

Also, I find most apologists need a better grounding in Philosophy. Justification from Scripture is important when encountering Protestants, but so is being grounded in Reason.

Dont forget: ya aint there to convert someone or win an argument. If you go that approach you will fail. All you can do is plant the seeds. The Holy Spirit will do the rest in His time.

This DOES bring up an interesting point, though. Why are all the well-known Catholic apologists men? I'm not a feminist at all, but doesn't it seem kinda, well, odd? Where are the women!?!?

I cannot grow beards.

Therefore, I cannot be an apologist.

What's unfair is that..why can't I grow a beard?
