God The Father Loving His Daughters

One song I heard struck me as very touching by Heartland called I Loved Her First. I redid some of the lyrics to have it sounding like God the Father. It speaks to me as a wonderful affirming song of how Our Heavenly Father loves us daughters of his. It reminds me of how we ladies really need to understand love from God so that we choose a man that is worthy of us. It also reminds me of when Jason Evert talked about how on his wedding day, he pictured the hand of God the Father behind the woman who would be his wife, saying that he was giving her to him. So when that day comes, I'll picture the Father doing the same as I walk down the aisle. I know that he'll find me a man worthy enough and I pray that I may keep this confidence in Him.
