Maximilianus
Are feast days for saints observed during the Easter Octave? Reason I ask is becuase I came across this [quote] From Catholic Culture "Outside of the Easter Octave, the Church celebrates the Memorial of St. Pius V, pope". cappie
In the table of Liturgical Days, Order of precedence, the following is written: 1. Easter Triduum, 2. Christmas, Epiphany, Ascension and Pentecost, Sundays of Advent, Lent & the Easter Season, Ash Wednesday, Weekdays of Holy Week & Days within the Octave of Easter. So there are no feast days observed during those times, they can be transferred to a day in the Second Week of Easter.
