I've always wanted a 'gun' of some sort that would let me shoot either whipped cream or orange paint or something like that onto the car of a bad driver - I want to pull a trigger and have a paintball splat all over their back windshield saying, "Drives likes a numbskull - approach with caution." I just can't work out the details of how to make it happen.

It would be a considered a felony under most miniStates. There was a "yellow card" warning magnet that was sold to motorcyclists, which they could flip onto a car. They were popular, until it dawned on people that sending a "missile" toward a moving vehicle is considered a felony under most miniStates, and that maneuvering close enough to place it on the car would be considered "reckless driving," which is also usually considered a felony.

I realize my little fantasy is completely unrealistic. But if I lived in a cartoon world....

There would be tire-sticky spray, and then you could draw big bushels of rotten tomatoes to throw at the car. I hear ya.

Or the motorcyclists would have wrenches and beat the motorist senseless.

Without regard to his own safety, that of innocent motorists, physics, and the properties of tempered glass?

i was thinking more about when the light has just turned green and its time to go. also, innocent motorists? you mean the ones with cell phones in one hand, putting on make up with the other, holding a breakfast wrap between their wrists who change lanes without signalling? you know all about those, you being a rider as well. and then there are the cagers who deliberatly go after bikers.
and i was referring to the side windows. if you have ever used a automatic centerpunch or a little ceramic point(like we did in the auto extrication course we did with the fire dept) you would know the side windows are incredibly easy to shatter.

and its more a happy hypothetical in my mind. but i can see its place. i know of other guys who will break off mirrors, leave dents in the door with their boots after a cager nearly kills them. maybe not ethical, but appropriate imo.

In a cartoon world you would just carry a big hole with you, whenever anyone cut you off just get in front of them and drop the hole on the road and they fall into and are gone. Of course a paint brush and a bucket would do the same thing but you would have to stop to paint the hole on the ground, but at least you could paint things like a door if you got trapped in a corner. Although a large eraser would probably be the best thing to have in a cartoon world, just erase the danger or the idiot and be done with it, and there is no commandment that says, Thous shall not erase thy neighbor.

No, I'm talking about the cagers into whom you send the guy in a panic, after you've broken his window. Bystanders who get sideswiped. Or the people who are put in danger when he tries to chase you.
and i was referring to the side windows. if you have ever used a automatic centerpunch or a little ceramic point(like we did in the auto extrication course we did with the fire dept) you would know the side windows are incredibly easy to shatter.
I have used an automotive centerpunch. Try breaking the window with some off-the shelf motorcycling gloves of whatever knuckle composition you like.

That's a contradiction in terms.
