OnlySunshine
Thank you to all who prayed for me. I went in and was a little nervous, but the prayers certainly helped. The activities director was very nice and it is a very Catholic nursing home. I'm very familiar with the hospital it is connected to, having been there too many times to count. I also met some of the current activity assistants, and they were nice as well. I'm not 100% sure the job is for me, though, because the AD told me that it is very fast-paced and you have to have good time management skills. Time management is a weakness of mine and something I struggled a great deal in at my job at the other nursing home as a CNA. But, I might do better at this job since it is non-medical, but I still get to interact with the senior citizens. If I get it, I will be working in the rehabilitation ward so I would meet a lot of people. I'm not sure when I will hear back because the lady that interviewed me doesn't do the hiring. I might have to go in for a second interview with the human resource manager, I'm not sure. Please pray that God's will be done. I am still looking for other jobs if this doesn't pan out. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, so to speak.
