Watched the wedding with the gbaby who was fascinated by a real princess. The service had a dignity and reverance and was quite moving, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. Just keep wondering how they misplaced my invitation?

Venerable Margaret Sinclair, aka Sr. Mary Francis of the Five Wounds worked at McVities before she entered religious life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even know they were still in business. She is one of my absolute FAVORITE Saints!!!

Camilla was never Catholic, as far as I know. Her first husband was Catholic, however. I assume they got an annulment because he remarried before she did. (Not sure--the first marriage could have been a civil service, for all I know.) Camilla is not Catholic now. She is Anglican, like her husband.

The Duchess of Kent was there--I caught a brief glimpse, as well as some Catholic monarchs, including the Queen of Spain (and her son and his wife, who are also Catholic) and the King and Queen of Belgium. Prince Albert of Monaco (and his fiance) are also Catholic (or at least, he is) were there. I spotted some Catholic clergy, but couldn't identify them.

I had a friend talk me into watching the highlights from the 6 hours of wedding day programming -- and I have to agree, the dignity and reverence of the service was not only refreshing, it was downright glorious. It felt like a luxurious display of Authority and Tradition.

And when Miss Middleton was entering the church and the carillon bells were ringing, I found myself thinking that if a mere royal wedding could be so infectiously joyous what will the actual Wedding Feast of the Lamb be like in Heaven? When, after all, it will go on forever....
