Ash Wednesday
Unfortunately, I've been developing the same problem. I haven't been able to wear a wool one for years, because I get huge red welts from it. And more recently, various metals have started doing the same thing. I haven't been able to wear a lot of jewelry for quite some time, but I could still wear my medals. Now, if I wear those for more than a day at a time, they cause me to break out, too.
You poor thing! I hate to see that happen to anyone else, too!
Tony
some scapulars have one side of the wool completly covered (where the image is) so maybe you could wear one of those "Backwards"? :shrugs:
Archaeology cat
I don't know how much crap girls generally carry in their pockets, but I know that with all the junk that I cart around in mine, tangled nightmare from the darkest recessed of Satan's yarnball would be approximately how that would end.
Yeah, I've broken a few Rosaries by keeping them in a pocket.
Girls use purses.
Not necessarily. I do at times, but of course I'm just as liable to have something break in there.
Archaeology cat
And Ash, I hear you on the sensitive skin. I'm allergic to wool, which is super annoying as a knitter, since so many of the nice yarns are wool or wool blends. I'm also allergic to gold, and can't wear nicer necklaces due to the kids.
