Blind
I started my journey back to FLA to turn myself in. So far my bond is 90,000 which i cant cover even the 10% so I will more then likely be sitting in jail till trial or whatever. Hopefully God will soften the heart of the judge and he will reduce it. My request is that you pray that I my faith stays strong and also I am only charged with what I did not the other charges that I have been also dragged into. I am sorry to be so vague but some of youknow the jist of whats going on. I will post if I get out or before I go back in. I wont be on the chat probably. I had closure with my ill mom and oldest son who are in Ohio. My dad is helping me pay for my lawyer because I am not well off by no means. I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for listening and talking to me while I was waiting to take care of this, you have taught me a lot wther you know it or not. I honestly feel like you guys are really close to me. You will all be in my prayers. A win/win in this situation would be the state getting a convection and i not going to jail/prison. So I hope to be able to keep you informed and will if I can. I love my kids family with all my heart and realize what I have done is not as innocent as I thought and confessed obviously about it. It is up to God now what his calling is for me. Love you all, Josh

Blind
thanks guys a lot. it seems our prayers are working i am more focused then ever now and information that i never saw before that may help me just popped up when i did a search on google. i mean really good info. I have a question. I had a brief talk with my wife today, we haven't seen each other in months. I find out that she is really upset with me, well let me word that different. She is worried about the fact that I continue to mess up. I cheated on her along time ago and we fought then I said never again and there was an again and then a never again and then an again and then a I swear never again and I stopped. Now this. She says I am an adrenalin junkie. I always feel like I mean to change but then something comes over me. How do I pray about this and what Saint can I ask to help? Nihil Obstat
St. Joseph is the patron of families, and the model for husbands. He's the most powerful saint after Mary, so I pray to him very frequently. Also he's my namesake.
Blind
Thank you so much. Oh you said pray to him. I thought you asked Saints to pray for you, am I suppose to pray like I do when I say the Our Father? Or do you just talk to them like they are in the room with you? Ask for their intercession. You don't need to pray for his soul, because we know he's in heaven, but ask him to intercede for you, and ask him to pray for you as well. Communicate with him in any way you feel comfortable. Personally, I prefer prayers composed by someone else, specifically more traditional prayers. It suits my spirituality. Some people prefer off-the-cuff, and that's fine too.
4588686
Blind. The real test of a man is how he handles himself after getting knocked down or screwing himself over. You screwed up and have put yourself and, more importantly, your family into a difficult position. It sounds like youre trying to do the right thong now and I think that says a lot of good things about you. I hope for your family's sake that things go alright for you. You are guilty of some crimes and I think it's safe to say that your about to go through a serious gut check. Just remember that whatever your screwups in the past were as long as you're doing the right thing now you have your honor and sense of self respect. Those are things that nobody can take away from you unless you allow them to. As long as you conduct yourself honorably from this point foreward you can still be a good role model for your kids and somebody they can be proud to call their father. Good luck.
