CatherineM
For those who don't venture into the Prayers section, I have developed a pressure sore sitting in my wheelchair. I just wondered if there was a saint to pray to for broken rear ends.
Lil Red
well, St. Peter was kind of a horse's arse....perhaps his intercession?

cmaD2006
Maybe St. Francis -- he had a love/hate relationship with his (including his entire body) and at the end of his life he had wished he had treated his better. So -- maybe St. Francis?
CatherineM
I was thinking maybe a saint who had spent a lot of time in the saddle, maybe St. Joan.
Rebecca2009
I love St. Joan and St. Peter! I hope you recover from that soon.
Nihil Obstat
They say that Thomas Aquinas was pretty hefty, which implies to me that he spent a lot of time with his rear parked in his chair.....
CatherineM
Yes, but he was probably in a comfortable chair.
IcePrincessKRS
St. Anthony is (among other things) the patron of asses. I think we can be a little liberal and take that to mean any type of ass.
CatherineM
It's the size of a duck egg, and I'm running a fever of 101.5, so I am debating going to the hospital.
Lil Red
i think that would be a good idea prayers going up to St. Thomas the Apostle!
MissScripture
With a fever like that and an ulcer that size, I agree with Lil Red. Hospital sounds like a good plan...
IcePrincessKRS
Go get yourself checked out. No matter how much of an aversion to doctors and hospitals you have you wouldn't want to risk letting it get any worse. You'd be mad at yourself and your husband would be upset. Go. I'll say some extra prayers for you.
