I'm Glad I Went To See Braco, The Healer

If you don't know about him - I first heard something on Good Morning America.
(This is a non-denominational, non-religious 'thing', btw.)

Then, a friend in Hawaii made me promise to go.
$8 a session in a group every hour.

Here's your basic youtube : http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Mcal5BjK7x8
But this is my favorite and gives the feeling of being in the room with him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZcJlwqD-PY&feature=related

All sorts of people are, of course, drawn to him.
Catholic Cuban ladies holding rosaries in Miami, big fat old hippies, grandmothers in wheelchairs...people see
his face change into the Virgin Mary - they see an angel behind him --all sorts of stories - all that could turn people off
thinking it is too weird.
I say forget about interpretations.
And for $8 - just stand there and see for yourself.

I did and I'm glad I did.

(He doesn't speak English and is from Croatia.)

I didn't watch this past when the narrator said there was only one hope left for some people and it is this guy.

Why are you glad you went? Does he speak about Jesus? Is he even Christian? Where does he think he gets his "healing power"?

The things you describe sound very odd to me, and something that any spirit could do. Why do you think it is from God? I ask this because I assume you believe such things are from God, as otherwise they would be from Satan, and you wouldn't post such a thing on this site.

I don't mean this to be accusing. I'm just very confused and upset about why you would post something called a "non-religious thing" in the Transmundane board. If it's non-religious and doesn't profess to be from Jesus - and yet displays spiritual powers - then it's from the Liar.

I take all this back if there's more in that video that would change this, but I can't watch it now. Based on the little I did watch and what you wrote, though, I'm very concerned for the spiritual well-being of those who in any way support him.

ETA: I don't mean to say that everyone who doesn't profess Jesus is of the devil, as some people are genuinely ignorant and don't have the means to know the Truth. But I find alternative healing stuff really sketchy and very New Agey...

Well, I watched the first video and the only thing Braco is quoted about regarding the healing power is something about being open to a force.

This is sad to me because I wonder how many of these people have tried opening themselves to God in the normal, ordinary ways He speaks to us every day, constantly.

I don't direct these things at you, Miss Hepburn. However, I would never recommend that anyone go to see this man.

Sorry, if I posted it where I shouldn't have.
It was more of an FYI, due to my enthusiasm.

He's a healer.
People get healed.
Pretty much ....that's it.

Being a typical Czeck - I imagine he's Catholic.
He could be a Jew, I have no idea.
No offense taken, dear.

Well, regardless of what I think about him vs. what you think about him, you're a very kind person for responding to my rant with such charity. :)

Ms. H ... just be careful. I didn't like the "vibe" that I got from the video. I don't think it is from God. Even though the video says that there have been healings, this is something that the enemy can imitate as well.

As Chamomile said -- nothing personal, nothing against you. Just saying this out of love.

Blessings during this Holy Week,
