Got a job offer today. Also I'm considering getting my master's degree. I don't know what to do :ohno:

Nihil Obstat

Would you have to go into debt to get a Master's degree?
Also, what kind of job was offered?

I do not regret my Master's, but I did it without debt. And I need it to be employed in my field. And I work in a field in which it does not really pay to go into debt for a Masters.

need more info...
but i vote take the job unless u already have grad school lined up... you can always quit if you find you have gotten into a grad school you want... or do part time? but if grad school falls through and the job disappears in the meantime, you will be sad

many places monetarily assist their employees in attaining their Master degree. Maybe you take the job and have them pay for some of your grad school?

If the company will pay for the masters -- take the job. If not ... and you can swing doing the master's without loans, go to school. If you really need to go to work to live -- job.

take the job. Who knows where the economy will be a few years from now. Can you take classes online?

Need more info, like others said, if you can get grad school paid for, go for it. Although If you can do both, definitely go for that.

If I had the chance to go back and do it again, I'd skip grad school...but that's just me.

Of course the Army has a program whereby guys can enlist together and go through Basic and AIT together.

THAT'S 17 WEEKS OF HASANIC EXPOSURE.

You'll get more concentrated Hasan than most people, even the luckiest of men, get in a lifetime.

Something to consider.

I can get paid to go to grad school, but a small fraction compared to a real job :turban:
