MIKolbe freaked out on me when I considered skipping class to meet the guy who is now my hubby...

...nevermind the fact that I wouldn't be telling my parents and meeting a guy I met on the internet an hour away from anyone I knew...

:paperbag:

But it's okay! In the end, we got to meet much sooner, with my family there. And it all worked out, and now we're married. :proud:

To add on to what I said above, there are times that things are more important than class. It really comes down to what you decide is morn important. If I had NEVER skipped class, I would've really regretted missing some things...or possibly died, cuz our school is terrible at calling school off due to weather...

No...my snow story wins!

I flew into Memphis from Phoenix on the Sunday after New Year's...Snow was falling heavily. Oxford, an hour south of Memphis and where I go to school, would end up with 10" of snow. (I'm pretty sure that's a record.)
So we're circling into MEM and I'm looking out the window at Horn Lake/Olive Branch/Southaven below us...The snow is so thick that I can hardly see and it's blowing SIDEWAYS!
So our wheels make first contact...and when we're fully on the ground, the entire plane SLIDES on snow and ice.

I for reals thought I was dead...

What happened was that we have too many peeps on Wednesday nights and not enough on Tuesday nights. Therefore, I got moved because he knows I miss our version of Theology on Tap, which is on Wednesday nights. So really, it's not such a bad thing!
