Brother Adam
I just drove past and finally stopped in Cabela's Outfitters in Dundee, MI. You could spend a week in here. There is a small city built around it. When I finally leave today I may not have any money left. There is a $20,000 pontoon I am looking at and a Smith and Wesson that is calling my name. Does anyone here have a recommendation on a type of kayak they like? After injuring my knee I can't run as much any more. CatherineM
Best tent I ever had was a Cabela's. Wish they still made that model. I looked at kayaks yesterday at Mountain Equipment Co-op (Canadian REI). The primate I live with wouldn't let me buy one.

Sternhauser
Old Towns are superbly built. Get a sea 'yak with a skirt, rudder and some storage. Then take it camping on a lake chain. You'll have a blast. ~Sternhauser
Chestertonian
Ahh Cabela's....my favorite store in the whole world. I've been to three here in the NW and they're fun for the whole family. Where else can you get an ostrich burger and camouflage boxers?

dominicansoul
there's a cabela's in Buda, Tx. I took my nephew there to pick out what he wanted for a graduation gift and wound up paying a small fortune! We enjoyed the time in there, though....i really enjoyed the guns/knives section as well as the huge aquariums...
mcts
We don't have a Cabela's near enough to us, or at least near anything else we go to anyway, but we do have a Gander Mountain!
thessalonian
O man there isn't enough money in my bank (not just my account) for all I want there. Best store in the world. Great place to take the kids too with all their taxidermy.
