Guest Metropolite
The Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, who lives with his girlfriend receives communion. When The Bishop of Albany was asked why this is permitted, he said the public didn't know all the circumstances. Living outside of marriage aside, Governor Cuomo is divorced, yet he presents himself at the altar with two situations where Communion should be denied. Why has the church relaxed the rules?
