Cherie
I just wanted to ask you, if you don't mind, for prayers for a 7-year-old friend of the family, Regina. The family is a wonderful Catholic family with 8 children--the father is a family doctor and the mother is a stay-at-home mom, and Regina is their youngest. Yesterday evening she came down with what they thought was respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and she was rushed from her home to a Children's Hospital (about 2-3 hours away) by ambulance. The weather was so terrible and foggy, they were unable to life-flight her there, which is what they wanted to do originally. She was unconscious and on a ventilator, and in critical condition. Apparently now, however, her entire right (maybe left? can't remember!) side has gone limp and they are wondering if it is a stroke. Now she is unresponsive. They don't even know if RSV is what is causing this; they have no idea, and the outlook does not look good. The community where she lives is having prayer vigils for Regina and the family. We are heading up there this weekend to help as much as we can. Please pray for her, if you don't mind!!! The family is begging for prayers, and we hope for a miracle for little Regina! Thank you so much!!!
