rhetoricfemme
I'm probably just overreacting, but this is still on my mind. A woman came to our door today with her two young daughters, and they were collecting donations for Japan. They were giving children's books and movies for the donations, as well as drawings that her daughters had drawn or painted. We sat and chatted outside for a few minutes, about nothing in particular. Both the woman and her daughters (they were around 3 and 5) were awing over our newborn daughter, who I was holding when she asked I went ahead and let her hold Kyra. She handed her back after about half a minute, and nothing seemed off about the woman, but I found myself wondering why on earth I let a stranger hold my daughter, as that's just not something I would normally do. Anyways, I've spent the rest of my day paranoid that this woman is going to come back for mine or someone else's kids whose house she may have visited. I think I'm just worried and overanalyzing, considering I let her hold Kyra, along with the fact that it was surprising to find someone nice enough to be collecting money for Japan as they were (giving her the benefit of the doubt here), along with my son's bedroom being at the front of our home, which is still very new to us. Please just pray for the safety of our children, and that this woman was just doing a kind thing as she claimed to be doing. Please pray that I'm just being paranoid. Thanks.
