lil bull 04
okay so yeah i want to get away from going to a lutheran church because well I just don't believe what they teach as far as communion. my parents are forcing me to go to the same church as them until i leave for going into the military so i really don't know too much. i need all the help i can get. i know that lutheran and catholics believe very similar things except for a slight difference between baptism, the doctrine of the lord's supper, and praying to the saints. yes baptism and communion are very similar and well i know what catholics believe about those doctrines. but there are things that i'd like to know more about like praying to the saints, the rosary, and mass. i dont' understand that stuff because lutherans are different. Thy Geekdom Come
Well, lil bull, you know that I've been helping you (This is Lupus) and I'm glad to see that you joined...you've come to the right place. If you go to the Open Mic forum and the Interfaith Dialogue forum, you may get more help. As far as what Catholics believe about these issues, the best source is the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.scborromeo.org/ccc.htm Make sure that you check out the notation at the bottoms of pages for background information and further opportunities to study our theology.
