LaPetiteSoeur
I've been asked by ma petite soeur to be her confirmation sponsor. So what do I do, other than the actual confirmation Mass? I used to serve it every year, but not as a sponsor. Now I'm because I have no idea what to do! Any suggestions? Any personal experiences. My gran was mine, but I don't know what to do for my sister! Merci

franciscanheart
My confirmation sponsor was also my Catholic religion teacher so she pretty much already drilled me on faith in class. She made sure I was ready and understood the sacrament.
AudreyGrace
I'm a confirmation/RCIA sponsor for my best friend.. I go to important meetings with her and stuff like that. I'm also teaching her how to pray the rosary and how to become more involved in the Church. If you don't HAVE to do anything, I suggest praying for them every day : )
OnlySunshine
I asked my godmother/aunt to be my confirmation sponsor. I thought it made sense to make her my sponsor.
dUSt
Oddly enough, my wife, a former Baptist, is a confirmation sponsor to more of MY cousins than I am. She doesn't do anything. So, you're good.

IcePrincessKRS
First and foremost, pray for her. Do your best to show them a good example of a Catholic way of life. Beyond that anything you choose to do is optional.
