DiscerningSoul Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 After my last "try" with the Visitations(Who are a wonderful community) I was blinded by fear not only that time but the others too. Even though I still felt "called" I ignored it for almost a year. Recently thou I have felt like God is "pushing" me, I have never felt so sure in my life! I am quiting one of my jobs so I can goto Mass everyday instead of just Sunday and making my vocation discernment "front and center" of my life. I know where he is leading me and why, I am leaving the fear behind me! I ask all of you if you will please pray for me as I come back to my beloved Lord. [/quote] I am not sure anything could be more true. I know God tends to smack me on the back of the head quite hard sometimes, like in the case of a vocation to the religious life. I was not going to be, I was not going to be....until I realized I had to do God's will, not mine. And guess what! I'm happier now than I was when I was running away from Him! (F oo ls is this way because the forum kept changing the word.) I have been telling others I am going to start my own pet sitting bussiness. I want to keep my vocation discernment under wraps for now, I want to concentrate on God and his will for my life. and thank you all for your prayers and support! I don't want to say to much but two prayers were answered today! Now there is no doubt that our Lord is calling me to the cloister.
