OnlySunshine
I have been searching online and applying to FAFSA for scholarships and grants to continue my education. As most of you know from my post in Open Mic, I am graduating with my AA degree in December of this year. I am hoping to go to my hometown university to complete some prerequisites for my chosen program and then I hope to transfer to another, more competitive, university to get my bachelor's degree since my hometown school doesn't offer the program I want--just a basic program for those hoping to continue. My financial status is a bit worrying, however, since my parents are middle-class and don't have much money to contribute. My mom has been trying help as best she can, but when I get to the university level, I'm going to need some financial aid. After this semester, I should be eligible, but the problem is if I will actually get it since many people need it nowadays. I made some errors in judgment before and I had medical issues so my transcript is definitely not what I hoped it would be. I'm really working hard to fix my mistakes and I am committed to my education. Please pray that I can get some financial assistance. I may even have to take out a school loan, but only as a last resort. Jesus, Your array of miracles, A true manifestation of Your Divinity, Draws the admiration of searching souls. Never let it be said, "Miracles do not exist!". You are the living example of such actions. Bless me with the faith to always believe, To affirm the Supreme Power of Your miracles, Be they of a physical or spiritual nature. Grant me the aptitude to instantly perceive The source of all supernatural occurrences, So only Your Excellence shall be glorified. Jesus, my existence is a wondrous miracle! Amen. Since these difficult financial circumstances have come into our lives, we are in dire want and economic embarrassment, being unable to meet our honest debts. Saint Jude, you know only too well, we are not asking for wealth, if the possession of it is not in accordance with the holy will of God. We beg you only for that immediate assistance which will enable us to meet and satisfy our pressing obligations. We plead with you, Dear Jude, to obtain for us the financial assistance we so urgently need in our present financial difficulty. Amen. Edited March 4, 2011 by MaterMisericordiae
