I know very little about the Bridgettine Order, but it didn't realize they were contemplative/active .. beautiful apostolate with their guesthouses .. very Benedictine. We have a community here in the US .. By the way, this is a beautiful song in this video! I'd never heard it before. It's Angel's Wings by Marisa Frantz - [url="http://www.listentomarisa.com"]http://www.listentomarisa.com[/url] I think this song would especially fit for a video on someone who had a major conversion and entered religious life! (Sr. Edita Marija in Avila!!)

I've stayed at their guest house and met the Sisters- they are throughly lovely. I've also visited the motherhouse in Rome. They are a beautiful order

Thank you! That is really interesting to see. So the Bridgettines I posted about are the "active" Bridgettine Sisters .. and these in Devon are the actual Bridgettine nuns Learn something new every day

By the way, I see in your profile .. you are actually from Devon, UK. Neat! Have you seen/visited this abbey? Again, thanks for posting about it
