Baby Due

If you can, please say some prayers for us. Our due date is tomorrow, and I'm really nervous about the whole thing. I'm not showing any signs of going into labor, have a relatively low (but thankfully steady and not super low) platelet count, and my OB told me to be prepared for a scheduled c-section if I don't go into labor by 41 weeks. While I know I can accept it for what it is, I so desperately want to avoid another c-section. I'd most likely not be allowed an epidural or spinal, so I'd miss out on the birth of our daughter; and it also drives me nuts to be laid up for too long.

Please pray that my body would just go for it and go into labor, and that we would remain healthy before, during and after labor and delivery.

Please pray for my attitude to stay upbeat and focused on all the good God has blessed me with in my life.

Please pray that my husband will remain sane during this whole thing. He'll be there for the delivery (or waiting for me should I need to have a c-section that requires general anesthesia), going home at night to our 19 month old son (who in the mean time has our close friend/housemate to take care of him), and working on moving us from our apartment into our new house. He's trying to find some family who can get away and help, but it's not going to be for at least another few weeks before he gets any relief.
