I thought the judiciary determined the constitutionality of laws. Now I guess it depends on who is president as to which laws need enforcement and which don't. If we get a rep. President Nationalized Health Care doesn't even need a vote.

Oh my goodness, who does he think he his? The president has zilch power to "order" the judiciary what to do! I can not wait for him to be voted out of office net year, hopefully God provides someone completely better. A good man better step forward soon, or this nation IS actually done for.

Do you really not know how to spell Obama or is there some joke I'm not getting? It seems you always spell it wrong and I'm not sure if it's intentional or not.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam

There is a long tradition of Presidents who don't care about the rule of law. There have been some good Presidents but many of them clearly have harmed the rule of law, something which is against their vow to uphold and defend the Constitution. President Obama's telling the Department of Justice not to defend a bill passed by the Congress, who is supposed to be the direct voice of the people, and not closing of Guantanamo Bay is an example; so is President Bush's passing of the Patriot Act and detaining people in Guantanamo Bay and holding them without trial or even for a military proceeding- some of these individuals being American or German Citizens (a clear violation of rights and what we believe is just). President Andrew Jackson refused to enforce a Supreme Court decision and President Lincoln suspended habeus corpus and refused to prosecute General Tecumseh Sherman as a war criminal for burning the homes of and directly attacking non-combatants and civilians, just to name a few instances. I know many people respect some of these men but that does not change history nor the fact that their acts harmed the rule of law. These men, though they may have been eloquent speakers and given good speeches, revealed their respect for the law through their actions. They showed what they valued through their actions as well, that there were some issues they placed above Justice, and they often acted in a way that suggests that the ends justifies the means. When pursuing an end regardless of the means, one often destroys the end for which one is working. This latest example of telling the DoJ not to defend things passed by Congress is a dangerous precedent to set and will definitely do far more harm than any good (even if one thought that Gay-Marriage is a good) that one could expect.

Not intentional. Just don't think about spelling it.
