TeresaBenedicta
Yesterday morning we were told we had to be out of our home no later than Friday so we started getting ready to put our stuff in storage and be homeless. Then 24 hours later, this morning we finally got the phone call that we can go to closing and everything has been approved. The final person signed off on it and it is now going to the title company. We will have our closing time within 24 hours, but the plan is sometime Friday afternoon.
Praise God!! :-) Congratulations!!

Brother Adam
Well, the celebration may be premature. Now our lender is giving me a bunch of BS about something that was suppose to be past us. Just can't win.
Brother Adam
Well, we are suppose to be closing on Friday and out by the weekend. Looks like that is not going to happen and we may be homeless by Friday. The lender ended up re-approving the loan with a higher down payment, but now the title insurance is expired, and the sellers agents haven't been answering the phone all day. That had to be updated in time for our lender to get the closing documents to the title company by noon to close by Friday, which was required by the sellers. The American Nightmare. Brother Adam
Yeah, about 100 miles away. The title work came back today and our lender send the closing package to the title company who now has to prepare HUD forms. So it is possible that the end of the yellow brick road is ahead. Afterwards the selling agent explained how the deal was basically dead 3 times the past 2 months and its a small miracle we got to closing. Deo Gratias. We also came home to find a litter of 5 kittens on our bed. The mattress may be a loss.

Brother Adam
Mommy and baby kittens are doing well. The mother cat wants constant reassurance from Mrs. Bro Adam that she is doing a good job with her babies. Our list for things we want to do to repair and things we want to buy for the new house is now about 10 times our current (drastically reduced) bank account. The first order after basic repairs and a lawn equipment will be a home school room.
