Sternhauser
Humility is a wonderful trait!! Whats with women and secrets, I can not really recall ever being asked to keep a secret by any male friends. ed
Ed, men don't have to ask other men to keep a secret. We already know when we must. It's on page 17 of the unwritten Code Of Manly Conduct: the MAN-ual. let_go_let_God
For high school speech meets, we would practice by talking to lockers. It looks ridiculous to see 75+ high school kids talking to a stretch of lockers in a really long hallway, but at least you know you are all crazy together. God bless- LGLG
MithLuin
Yeah, most secrets I get to know about generally involve engagement or pregnancy. When certain people say "I have NEWS" you know what the news is going to be before they tell you .

HopefulBride
that's just what I was going to recommend - find yourself a fairly large rock, lift it up, tell your secret to the ground under it, and set the rock back in place. You will have uttered it (thus releasing the kkiiillllliiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggg pressure) but it will remain a secret. Done!
I guess that's not cheating..... Pregnant women have to eat right, sleep enough, go to the doctor, get images made, be measured, all kinds of things - just like folks with lots of other serious health conditions. Your family isn't so weird - they just see the similiarities.
