[img]http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5207/5332024292_318cb1b8ee.jpg[/img]Perpetual Adoration chapel at the same Basilica, this is unique as the tabernacle rotates, behind the glass wall is the Basilica, they rotate the whole tabenacle towards the Basilica during mass to get to the reserved host's. This is a quiet room behind the altar seperate from the main church for adoration.

The talented young sculptor, a woman, the rector at that time of the Shrine, Monsignor Harte, commisioned to create this unique work of art actually converted and became a Catholic while working on this statue. She related how as she was working on the image of Our Lady She communicated to her how she wanted to be represented in this work, she was so certain that it was the Blessed Virgin speaking to her and guiding her hands as she chiseled away on this work she fell in love with Her and it left her with a deep feeling that she needed to accept the Catholic Church teachings and join the Communion of Saints.
